Key Focus Areas
In accordance with the Bourbon Group Declaration on Health Promotion, we have established the following five items as our key focus areas.
- Lifestyle disease prevention measures
- We consider it our company’s mission to create a workplace environment that makes it easy for employees to engage in health maintenance and promotion.
- Through the prevention of disease onset and progression, we aim to realize the well-being of each and every employee and contribute to solving societal challenges such as optimizing medical costs and extending healthy life expectancy.

- Support activities for high-risk individuals
- Recommendation for cancer screening
- Dietary and nutritional guidance (promoting regular breakfast habits)
- Exercise guidance, and provision of exercise opportunities such as walking events
- Examination of priority activities and establishment of management systems based on data analysis (Data health measures)
- Oral health support measures
- Support for obtaining the Japan Health Master Certification (a total of 107 employees certified at Basic and Expert levels)
- Recommendation and financial support for comprehensive medical checkups (total subsidies of approximately 8.5 million yen)
- No smoking during scheduled working hours/li>
- Provision of information on health effects of smoking and smoking cessation resources
- Mental health measures
- We believe that mental health is an essential element in leading a fulfilling life.
Through our mental health measures, employees’ stress levels have become visible, enabling employees to gain self-awareness and the organization to understand its condition.
We are implementing following measures to ensure that employees themselves have correct knowledge about mental health, can cope with everyday stress, and are able to work productively and creatively. -
- Implementation of stress checks, and improvement activities based on group analysis
- Training on managerial mental health support (Line Care) and employees’ self-care (Self-care)
- Harassment prevention training
- Establishment of a specialist consultation desk
- We believe that mental health is an essential element in leading a fulfilling life.
- Improving work styles
- Guided by the principles of “Learning,” “Working” and “Awareness,” our basic policy is to create a workplace environment where employees can pursue self-development that balances high aspirations with mental well-being. Based on this policy, we are engaged in cross-departmental business improvement activities to maximize both organizational and individual performance. Furthermore, we are implementing the following initiatives, such as encouraging remote work, supporting the balance of work with childcare or nursing care, and adopting diverse work styles.

- A large number of female employees work at our company, and from the perspective of promoting the active participation of diverse talent, we recognize the need to address health issues specific to women. By creating a work environment where women can work comfortably and enhancing health literacy for both men and women, we strive to maximize performance.

- Conducting seminars on women’s health promotion measures (Post-seminar questionnaire survey result: 93.6% satisfaction rate)
- Recommendation for breast and cervical cancer screenings
- Consultation services by midwives (pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, etc.)
- Consultation services by obstetricians and gynecologists (menstruation, PMS, fertility treatment, etc.)
- Sleep improvement measures
- We are focusing on sleep improvement measures to maintain and promote mental health, prevent lifestyle diseases, and prevent declines in work performance and occupational accidents.

Occupational Safety and Health Policy
We believe that the occupational safety and health of our employees form the foundation of corporate existence, and ensuring occupational safety and health is a social responsibility of the company. Therefore, under the Bourbon Group Declaration on Health Promotion, we adopt “Safety First,” “Health Maintenance and Promotion,” and “Traffic Safety” as the fundamental principles of our occupational safety and health activities, and will implement the following measures.
- We will continuously implement occupational safety and health activities with the participation of all employees by focusing on preventive measures, aiming for zero occupational accidents.
- Beyond just complying with the Industrial Safety and Health Act and other relevant laws and regulations, we will also identify environmental, safety and health issues in our business activities and adhere to company rules that reflect these issues.
- To reduce employee fatigue and stress, we will promote the creation of a comfortable workplace environment where employees can work cheerfully and energetically, maintaining both mental and physical health.
- We will strive to promote and instill the concept of traffic safety, and implement traffic safety campaigns in cooperation with local communities to achieve this goal.
In addition, we implement measures to prevent occupational accidents, such as risk assessment of hazardous work, identification of near-miss incidents, prompt sharing of information across all business sites and implementation of countermeasures in the event of an accident, and prevention of recurrence of similar accidents. Furthermore, we hold monthly safety and health committee meetings at each business site and biannual company-wide safety and health committee meetings to exchange opinions.
